Please join DHA Deputy Director Michael Malanoski as we reflect on the service and sacrifices of military medical personnel during and after the 9/11 attacks. Many of the medical heroes of 9/11 continue to serve our country and patients today.
The ceremony will feature guest speaker Dr. Bernetta Lane, a retired United States Public Health Service Captain, former Air Force active duty and Air Force Reserve nurse and senior leader. Dr. Lane was assigned to the Pentagon’s DiLorenzo’s TRICARE Health Clinic on Sept. 11, 2001, and she and her team worked tirelessly during and after the attack to provide vital medical care and stand up the Critical Incident Stress Management Team.
