Who are champions for resiliency during the COVID-19 pandemic?
The Ready and Resilient Award was created to recognize teams or individuals for their dedication during the COVID-19 outbreak.
Award Categories include:
Put People First
Stay connected, communicate early & often; people need information.Establish a communication ‘hub’ to communicate critical information.
Take Care of Yourself
Be aware of your own current state; Emotions take a toll.
Take Care of Your Team
The team needs to regain/maintain its focus – know and share the plan, determine how the virus is affecting your team.
Prioritize on the Essential
Continuously assess - What has changed since last brief? New requirements? Changes in patient status? In assignments? In staff?
Ask For and Offer Help
Actively seek/ask for task assistance from within the team or outside resources.
Do the Right Thing Right
Is the team vigilant with protocol requirements? Contingency plan? Handwashing? Isolation? Visitors? PPE? Physical space?
