A friendly reminder for the military community: the Psychological Health Resource Center (PHRC) is available to provide information on psychological health, connections to psychological health care, and access to community resources during COVID-19. The COVID-19 pandemic, and its impact on our daily lives and routines, may trigger interpersonal conflicts between family members and friends, increase feelings of anxiety or depression, or cause lost connections with psychological health care providers.

The PHRC is available to any service member, veteran, family member, caregiver, clinician, or anyone else who has a question about psychological health in the military. This free resource is available 24/7 and can be accessed by phone, email, and online chat.

The center’s resource consultants are all masters-level clinicians who understand the uniqueness of military culture. Although the PHRC is not a counseling service, it can provide information and access to resources in one’s immediate community including resources to address stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. Consultants can also assist callers in accessing treatment and care, using or applying for mental health care benefits, understanding types of treatment for mental health conditions, and answering questions on a variety of other psychological health topics during COVID-19.

For more information on all the ways to access the PHRC, visit the Psychological Health Center of Excellence website.
