JMOC-Basic
This five-day CLASSROOM-ONLY course focuses on joint and combined operational and medical planning from point of injury/illness to the appropriate capability of care during military operations. JMOC familiarizes students in policy guidance and information relevant to Joint Staff publications.
JMOC-Advanced
This five-day CLASSROOM-ONLY course training consists of planning activities associated with joint military operations by combatant commanders (CCDRs) and their subordinate joint force commanders (JFCs) in response to contingencies and crises. In addition, in-depth discussion on the comprehensive system that provides uniform policy and procedures for reporting the ability of the Armed Forces to fight and to meet the demands of the National Military Strategy.

Applying for a Course
***Please note: Students who submit a nomination form and are not selected must re-submit a nomination form to the service representative. The nomination forms "DO NOT" carry over to subsequent courses. The purpose of resubmitting a nomination form is to ensure that students are available for the course dates and the enrollment data matches course selection dates for audit purposes.
***Virtual courses: All students must have a Commercial Virtual Remote (CVR) Microsoft Teams account. It is the student’s responsibility to set up an account through their unit IT department.
AIR FORCE: Air Force personnel must contact their Unit Medical Readiness Office (MRO). The Unit MRO forwards their candidates to their respective MAJCOM/NAF MRO, and the MAJCOM/NAF MRO forwards their list of nominees directly to AFMSA/SG3XT. Air Force nominations sent directly to DMRTI will be forwarded to AFMSA/SG3XT.
ARMY RESERVE and NATIONAL GUARD Officers: Submit a Nomination Request Form to MAJ Richard Pierzina by the nomination due date listed below.
ARMY ENLISTED (All Components): Submit a Nomination Request Form to SGM Jose Raymundo before the nomination deadline listed below.
ARMY ACTIVE AMEDD Officers: Submit a Nomination Request Form to the USARMY Ft Knox HRC Mailbox before the nomination deadline listed below.
COAST GUARD: Submit a Nomination Request Form to Mrs. Renee Kirkland before the nomination deadline listed on the DMRTI website. Coast Guard nominations sent directly to DMRTI will be forwarded to Mrs. Renee Kirkland.
COCOM: Personnel assigned directly to a COCOM must submit a Nomination Request Form to the DHA LNO Program Manager, Ms. Sara Huntsman, before the nomination deadline listed below.
DHA and INTERAGENCY: Submit a Nomination Request Form to DMRTI by the nomination due date listed below.
NAVY: Submit a Nomination Request Form to CDR Bobbie Turner before the nomination deadline listed below.
