The Defense Health Agency (DHA) developed this digital toolkit to help you communicate with beneficiaries about the COVID-19 vaccine. The assorted print, digital, and social media graphics should be used locally to generate awareness among populations.

This comprehensive, multi-touch communications campaign focuses on raising awareness around vaccine options and resources, targeted at different beneficiary categories.

COVID-19 Delta Variant

The Delta variant has spread throughout the world as is now a variant of concern in the U.S. The Delta variant is rapidly expanding in the U.S., especially in areas where vaccination rates are low.

Visit the Delta Variant page, for key messages and graphics to message on your platforms about the Delta variant.

Get Your Second Shot

You are not considered fully vaccinated against COVID-19 until two weeks after your second dose in a 2-dose series, such as Pfizer or Moderna. If you received Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine, you are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after a single dose.

COVID-19 Vaccine Leader Card This printable card provides talking points when discussing the COVID-19 vaccine with servicemembers who are reluctant or indifferent to accepting the vaccine. The card lists common concerns and impressions, top 5 key messages, and supporting facts about the vaccine.
Unit Leader Vaccine Conversation Guide This guide offers approaches and illustrative examples for preparation, delivery, and navigation of small group discussions (recommended 1-5 people to facilitate greatest engagement) with servicemembers reluctant or indifferent to accepting the vaccine. The guide promotes an open dialogue regarding vaccine hesitancy and complacency by addressing concerns, building trust, and boosting vaccine confidence.
Provider Vaccine Conversation Guide This guide offers approaches and illustrative examples for Military Health System (MHS) providers to discuss the COVID-19 vaccine with servicemembers during routine visits. Initiating a COVID-19 vaccine conversation during servicemember visits will allow you to effectively address concerns, build trust, and boost vaccine confidence.
Line Leader Presentation PPT Leaders across the Department can leverage this briefing deck to discuss COVID-19 vaccines with their troops. Don't forget to reference speaker notes and to personalize the title slide!
Line Leader Presentation (PDF) This document is identical to the PowerPoint presentation for line leader reference and use.
Presentation Companion Leaders and public affairs officers may reference this document. It can be shared with commands to support briefings, or distributed independently to share facts about COVID-19 vaccines.

Our beneficiaries have multiple options about where to get the COVID-19 vaccine. We've provided this QR Code for you to place on your print and digital product to make it simple for our beneficiaries to take out their phone and scan this code to check the TRICARE.mil Vaccine Appointments page!

This single location features the DoD vaccination sites. Patients can scan to find a local military hospital or clinic or local/state vaccine site and how to get an appointment.
