Prevent COVID-19

COVID-19 spreads when an infected person breathes out droplets and very small particles that contain the virus. These droplets and particles can be breathed in by other people or land on their eyes, noses, or mouth. The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus.

  • You can protect yourself and others from COVID-19 by getting vaccinated as soon as you can.
  • You can continue to practice other protective measures like washing your hands and avoiding crowds or poorly ventilated spaces.
  • When around groups of people who aren’t vaccinated, even if you are, consider wearing a mask and staying at least six feet from people who don’t live with you.

Facemasks Still Required in Health Care Settings

While the CDC relaxed mask requirements for vaccinated people, you're still required to wear masks in health care settings. Print this poster and put it around your facility to let patients and visitors know the requirements.
