The Defense Health Agency (DHA) Privacy and Civil Liberties Office (Privacy Office) provides additional training on privacy and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)-related topics via in-person training sessions, brown bags, webinars, presentations, and quick reference guides.
Health Information Privacy and Security (HIPS) Training
The DHA Privacy Office hosts an annual Health Information Privacy and Security training for all DHA and Military Health System (MHS) workforce members, including military, civilian, and contractor personnel whose duties include the protection of personally identifiable information (PII)/protected health information (PHI).
