One approach incorporates the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality’s (AHRQ) Quality Indicators (QIs) for monitoring patient safety, quality, and prevention activities. During Part 2 of this two-part program, you will learn how to access your facilities’ QI data from the Military Health System (MHS) CarePoint information portal. You will also hear about various ways that the MHS has used the AHRQ QIs for performance improvement activities, followed by presentations from representatives of two civilian health systems who will discuss their improvement initiatives in more detail.
