Dr. Kelly Elmore Addresses Postpartum Hemorrhage

As we know, most births are very happy, wonderful experiences. However, there are times when there are complications. Now, these complications, for the most part, happen less than 5% of the time. But there is one that we want to talk to you about specifically, and that's called postpartum hemorrhage.

Postpartum hemorrhage is when you have too much blood loss surrounding delivery, and sometimes a few weeks later. The wonderful thing about MHS is we've been ahead of the game for a long time. We provide top quality education to our nurses, our doctors, our medics and our corpsman so that if a postpartum hemorrhage does happen, we are fully prepared.

So if there is excessive bleeding, you should be reassured that not only have we seen this, have we experienced it, but we are truly trained and educated to prevent it and decrease anything from happening seriously to you.
