Walter Reed Welcomes National Nurses Week

Walter Reed director, U.S. Navy Captain Melissa Austin, welcomes National Nurses Week with a message for all nurses during their special week, May 6, 2024. National Nurses Week from May 6 - May 12 is a week-long celebration of nurses all across the nation. This year's theme, "Nurses Make the Difference," honors the incredible nurses who embody the spirit of compassion and care in every health care setting. (DOD video by Quinton Lyons)
