While active-duty women do get regular health check-ups, women who leave active duty, and dependents need to make sure they remain diligent about keeping track of their health. The vitals check information includes blood pressure, pulse and temperature which is recorded in a service member's medical record for every visit to a clinic. Medical Field Practicum 202 - Operation Bushmaster

Each fall, the USUHS School of Medicine and Graduate School of Nursing conduct a full-scale medical field exercise, nicknamed "Operation Bushmaster," at an Army National Guard training base in central Pennsylvania. Military health care providers fly in from around the country to teach and grade participants as part of the Military Contingency Medicine course.
