The purpose of this MOU is to document the broad understanding between the Department of Defense, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) on behalf of the Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service (PHS) and of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Commissioned Corps regarding participation in TRICARE, the DoD medical program for the Military Health System (MHS). This document affirms the strong commitment of each Department to ensure that all TRICARE-eligible beneficiaries have access to high quality, cost-effective health care. This document will also describe the resulting reimbursement mechanisms.

It is a six-section file (National Stock Number 7530-00-990-8884), or electronic equivalent, similar to that used for Provider Credential Files. It is also known as the 6-sided training folder or Competency Based Orientation File (CBO).

CDC's Third National Report on Human Exposure to Environmental Chemicals

The National Report on Human Exposure to Environmental Chemicals provides an ongoing assessment of the U.S. population’s exposure to environmental chemicals using biologic monitoring (biomonitoring). Biomonitoring is the direct assessment of people’s exposure to chemicals by measuring the chemicals or their breakdown products (metabolites) in blood or urine.
