A program conducted by DoD veterinary or Military Services’ public health personnel to determine the vulnerability of an installation’s food and food service operations to natural or intentional contamination or destruction, including terrorist attacks. Assessments identify areas of improvement to withstand, mitigate, and deter such hazards. They are conducted on installations or in facilities associated with a DoD installation.
