DHA Public Health Launches MilTICK SURE Path: Surveillance for Understudied, Rare Emerging Pathogens
The MilTICK program is expanding its disease surveillance to include deadly emerging pathogens. MilTICK SURE Path is a critical tool for defense public health entomology and public health officials in tracking emerging disease threats.

An interagency group that consists of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response, who acts as the chair of the Senior Policy Group; the ASD(HA) in collaboration with the ASD Homeland Defense and Global Services (HD&GS); the Under Secretary for Health, VA; and the Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security for Health Affairs, DHS. The group determines overall policy and program guidance for the NDMS.
