Senior Leader Council on Patient Movement

Definition:

A working group formed to assist with development of policy and goals for National Disaster Medical System (NDMS) and to provide operational direction as needed. This interagency group consists of the HHS’s Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response, who acts as the chair of the Senior Leader Council on Patient Movement; and representatives from the Offices of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs (ASD[HA]) and Assistant Secretary of Defense for Homeland Defense and Global Security (ASD[HD&GS]); a representative from the Under Secretary for Health, VA; and a representative of the Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security for Health Affairs, Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
