An organized network of trauma care specialists within each of the geographical CCMDs and select functional CCMDs responsible for optimizing trauma care in support of CCDR requirements. The CCMD Trauma System may be scaled to accommodate the ROMO by maintaining a framework of trauma care specialists assigned to regionally aligned medical treatment facilities who additional trauma care specialists may augment, depending upon the phase of operation and level of trauma support required.
