TRICARE Authorizes Temporary Prescription Refill Waivers for Ferry County, Washington, due to Wildfire
FALLS CHURCH, Virginia – The Defense Health Agency announced that TRICARE beneficiaries in Ferry County, Washington, may receive emergency prescription refills now through Aug. 4, 2024, due to the Swawilla Fire.

A joint activity reporting directly to the Commander, USTRANSCOM that serves as the DOD single manager for the development of policy and standardization of procedures and information support systems for global Patient Movement (PM). The Command Surgeon’s Office implements policy and standardized procedures for the regulation, clinical standards, and safe movement of patients. The Command Surgeon’s Office orchestrates and maintains "global oversight" of the Patient Movement Requirements Center (PMRCs) in coordination with the geographic Combatant Commander (GCCs) and external intergovernmental organizations as required. The Command Surgeon’s Office synchronizes current and future operational PM plans to identify available assets and validate transport to bed plans through the supporting USTRANSCOM PMRCs.
