DHA Public Health Launches MilTICK SURE Path: Surveillance for Understudied, Rare Emerging Pathogens
The MilTICK program is expanding its disease surveillance to include deadly emerging pathogens. MilTICK SURE Path is a critical tool for defense public health entomology and public health officials in tracking emerging disease threats.

All paid and unpaid persons working in health care settings who have the potential for exposure to patients or to infectious materials including body substances, contaminated medical supplies and equipment, contaminated environmental surfaces, or contaminated air.
HCP include both persons who provide direct or indirect care to patients and those not directly involved in patient care but potentially exposed to infectious agents that can be transmitted to and from other HCP and patients. HCP required to receive annual influenza vaccination will be identified by the Director, DHA, and published in procedural instructions.
