DHA Public Health Launches MilTICK SURE Path: Surveillance for Understudied, Rare Emerging Pathogens
The MilTICK program is expanding its disease surveillance to include deadly emerging pathogens. MilTICK SURE Path is a critical tool for defense public health entomology and public health officials in tracking emerging disease threats.

A division within the DHA responsible for coordination of the ASBP. Functions include implementation of blood program policies established by the ASD(HA), and standardization of policies, procedures, and equipment. The ASBPD provides guidance for the full array of blood and blood products (e.g., red blood cells (RBCs), platelets, fresh frozen plasma, plasma frozen within 24-hours, cryoprecipitate) collected in support of peacetime activities and across the ROMO. Formerly known as the Armed Services Blood Program Office.
