Lt. Col. Matthew T. Swingholm, Armed Services Blood Program, will be providing information about the current state of the blood program, and the impact of COVID-19 on blood donations.  He'll also discuss who can donate to the blood program, and how soon after receiving the vaccine or COVID-19 you can donate blood.

This memorandum replaces DHA-Policy Memorandum 20-003 of July 1, 2020. Attachment 1 was updated to include the 2021 procedure and diagnosis codes for COVID-19, including the new vaccination and treatment codes.
