Food and Water Risk Assessment (FWRA)

Definition:

A program conducted under specific circumstances by veterinary or public health personnel to assess food operations to identify and mitigate risk from intentional and unintentional contamination.  Circumstances under which an assessment is conducted include short term deployments, for deployed forces during initial entry deployment, and exercises and other short-term operations conducted outside the United States or its territories.
