Behavioral Health Tech

Behavioral health technicians are allied health professionals focused on communication techniques required to assess/evaluate military personnel and their family members in need of behavioral health care. The Behavioral Health Technician course provides training in the areas of communication techniques, human development, psychopathological disorders, psychological testing, consultation, interviewing, psychiatric behavioral interventions, counseling, and Combat and Operational Stress Control. The course combines didactic classroom instruction and closely supervised practical exercises.
