The Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs continue burn pit exposure support of more than 4.7 million veterans in a toxic exposures registry and offer updated healthcare provider training on those exposures.

The Department of Veterans Affairs is advancing efforts to address issues associated with military-related toxic exposure by launching a redesigned Airborne Hazards and Open Burn Pit Registry.

In response to extensive feedback from veterans and service members, the Department of Veterans Affairs announced the launch of the redesigned Airborne Hazards and Open Burn Pit Registry.
