Dr. Paul Cordts, chief medical officer and deputy assistant director of medical affairs for the Defense Health Agency, addressed how IT can help make patient care safer across the Military Health System through MHS GENESIS and the use of data in health care. Cordts was just one of several DHA senior leaders who spoke at the 2023 Defense Health Information Technology Symposium on Aug. 9, 2023, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
