Radiologic Technologist

The Radiologic Technologist consolidated Clinical Training Program provides training in:

  • Radiation physics
  • Anatomy and physiology
  • Theory and practice of fixed and mobile radiologic equipment
  • Chemical and digital processing
  • Routine and special radiographic positioning

Simulated and/or live practice is provided for all procedures.

The following concepts and principles are introduced:

  • Computed tomography
  • Mammography
  • Nuclear medicine
  • Radiation therapy
  • Magnetic resonance imaging
  • Sonography

Quality control and safety techniques are emphasized throughout the program. Instruction and practice in medical ethics, patient care, and comprehensive pre-clinical review prepares students to transition to a clinical setting.
