Joint Longitudinal Viewer

The Joint Longitudinal Viewer is managed within the DOD Healthcare Management System Modernization Program Management Office.

Q1:

What is the Joint Longitudinal Viewer?

A:

The Joint Longitudinal Viewer (JLV) is a clinical application that provides an integrated, read-only display of health data from the Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and provider organizations outside the federal health care systems in a common data viewer.

Thousands of DOD and VA clinicians use JLV daily to access real-time medical data in the treatment of their patients. VA benefits administrators also use the application extensively as they research patient medical histories to process claims.
