Department of War extends, expands health insurance pilot for civilian employees and dependents in Japan
The Department of War is expanding access through the Pilot Health Insurance Enhancement for DOW Civilian Employees in Japan, including eligibility for authorized dependents of DOW civilian employees. This expansion reaffirms the DOW’s ongoing commitment to ensuring high-quality healthcare access for civilian personnel and their families in Japan.
Accessing Military Health Care During Lapse in Appropriations
The Military Health System will continue to provide health care during a government lapse in appropriations. There may be some effects on the delivery of health care services within military hospitals and clinics. Contact your hospital or clinic to confirm hours of operations and services provided.
