The Center for the Intrepid

The Center for the Intrepid is a four-story, 65,000-square-foot, circular building where doctors, therapists, technicians, and specialists provide advanced rehabilitative care to service members recovering from amputations and other catastrophic injuries. The $55 million, publicly-funded center, opened adjacent to Brooke Army Medical Center on Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, Jan. 29, 2007. CFI offers a vast array of services to include military performance lab, occupational therapy, physical therapy, prosthetics, case management and behavioral medicine. Much of the technology found in the CFI can't be found anywhere else in the world. | Learn Moregoes to BAMC
