Definition:

A psychologist, social worker, psychiatric nurse practitioner, or psychiatrist credentialed for independent practice or a psychology, social work, psychiatric nurse practitioner or psychiatry trainee being clinically supervised by a behavioral health provider who is credentialed for independent practice. Internal behavioral health consultant (IBHC) work in a primary care behavioral health (PCBH) model of service delivery.
