Operation Enduring Freedom. Petty Officer Denis C. Miranda, 24, was one of four sailors who died in a helicopter crash September 21, 2010, during combat operations in the Zabul province, Afghanistan, while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. He was from Toms River, N.J.
