Spc. Jamal M. Rhett, of Palmyra, N.J., died in August 15, 2010, in Ba Qubah, Iraq, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his vehicle with grenades. Rhett, 24, was considered his mother’s “knight in shining armor.”
