Radiologic Technologist
The Radiologic Technologist consolidated Clinical Training Program provides training in:
- Radiation physics
- Anatomy and physiology
- Theory and practice of fixed and mobile radiologic equipment
- Chemical and digital processing
- Routine and special radiographic positioning
Simulated and/or live practice is provided for all procedures.
The following concepts and principles are introduced:
- Computed tomography
- Mammography
- Nuclear medicine
- Radiation therapy
- Magnetic resonance imaging
- Sonography
Quality control and safety techniques are emphasized throughout the program. Instruction and practice in medical ethics, patient care, and comprehensive pre-clinical review prepares students to transition to a clinical setting.
