Clinical Consultation Services

The Immunization Healthcare Division offers vaccinology expertise to all healthcare professionals. We're here to support you with your immunology related questions, including inquiries about the safe administration of vaccines, adverse event management, and clinical follow-up. 

Consultative Services

  • Assistance with complex immunologic conditions
  • Assistance for management of adverse event following immunization

Adverse Event Case Management 

Clinical Education

  • Staff training and briefings
  • Presentations at medical symposiums, conferences, health fairs, and other organizational events
  • Development and updating of educational resources
  • Support and implementation of performance quality improvement initiatives to enhance vaccine safety

Clinical Research

  • Conduct vaccine safety and vaccine adverse events research.
  • Publish case studies and research findings related to vaccine adverse events.

Eligibility

The Worldwide DHA Immunization Healthcare Support Center offers care and/or consultation to the following groups:

  • Active duty military service members (Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy)
  • Reservists
  • National Guard
  • DOD employees/contractors who receive a DOD-mandated vaccine
  • Healthcare providers at military activities
  • Military beneficiaries
  • Retirees
  • Students and employees of DOD schools, childcare centers, and youth programs
  • Designated at-risk federal civilian employees
