Medical Simulation and Training Program Management Office

MST PMO was established in 2013 by the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs to:

  • Develop medical training science and technology projects.
  • Support operational and clinical medical training requirements.
  • Standardize and centralize medical training.

The Medical Simulation and Training Program Management Office leads the development, prototyping, production, fielding, sustainment, and disposal of medical simulation and training projects for the Military Health System.lifecycle systems management of medical training aids, devices, simulations, simulators, and services across the Military Health System.

Special Operations Command Purposed Emergency Access Response Point of Injury and Trauma Simulation

A prototype that provides prolonged field care training to the U.S. Special Operations Command.

Joint Trauma and Education Training Delivery Platform

A multiservice application that provides a point-of-demand platform that delivers standardized medical readiness training material across the MHS.

Virtual Education Center

An online educational resource that helps our patients find answers to questions, reinforces the information patients get from their providers, and empowers patients to make informed decisions about their health. Learn more about the Virtual Education Center

Defense Health Agency Texting Solution

Enables providers to engage with patients via Short Message Service to deliver secure content from participating enterprise applications such as the Virtual Education Center or MHS Video Connect. Read the SMS Terms and Conditions.

Complicated OB Emergency Simulations System

Standardized upgrade of OB/GYN simulators and curriculum at 46 military treatment facilities.

  • Artificial intelligence-enabled collection, analysis, and manipulation of large amounts of diverse data to solve enterprise and individually targeted issues.
