A Life Saved, A Limb Healed with Navy Undersea Medicine, Navy Divers

After suffering a harrowing injury which threatened both his life and limb, U.S. Navy Lt. Lyman Woollens, a family medicine physician assigned to Naval Hospital Bremerton’s urgent care clinic, has started to receive extensive rehabilitation treatment under the guidance of U.S. Navy divers and Navy Medicine undersea medicine using the oldest certified dive chamber on Naval Undersea Warfare Center. Reminder: TRICARE Regions Are Changing Jan. 1, 2025

There will be changes to the TRICARE regions in the U.S. on Jan. 1, 2025. While there will still be two TRICARE regions, six states currently in the East Region will move to the West Region. There are also some ZIP codes in four of these states that will be exceptions to the region changes.
