Aerospace Medical Service Specialist

The Aerospace Medical Service Apprentice Clinical Training Program provides students with apprentice-level medical knowledge and skills for pre-hospital, inpatient, and outpatient care.

Training includes:

• Basic Life Support
• Emergency Medical Technician certification
• Anatomy and physiology
• Medical terminology
• Nursing
• Primary patient care with emphasis on outcome-based practice and safety

Instruction is delivered through lectures, group activities, hands-on practice, simulations, and clinical skills training. Students are prepared to perform inpatient and outpatient operations in traditional and operational settings with technical proficiency, professional behaviors, and the ability to apply medical knowledge as Air Force medics.
