Clinicians and Technicians Resources

We provide resources and programs to support health care providers in treating hearing-related conditions. We develop multiple tools and resources for hearing health providers. We work with experts to create clinical best practices. This gives our providers the best recommendations for hearing health care and support. These resources and programs ensure that service members, veterans, and civilians receive effective, up-to-date hearing care.

Here’s a list of some key tools:

Clinical Practice Guidelines: These are regularly updated to help diagnose and treat conditions like tinnitus and vestibular disorders.
Coding Guidance: Standardized methods to document and code conditions to ensure care is uniform across clinics.
Progressive Tinnitus Management: This is a stepped care approach that helps doctors and patients manage tinnitus care.
DOD-VA Hearing Prosthetics Ordering System: This is an online system for ordering, tracking, and managing hearing aids and devices.
Military Vestibular Assessment and Rehabilitation training: Designed for clinicians to improve their care of patients with dizziness and balance problems.
