Description: This study is being done to identify which strategies are most useful for reducing emotional distress among military personnel.
Procedures and Tasks:
If you agree to participate, you will complete a questionnaire that asks about your feelings, thoughts, moods, and behaviors. You will also be asked about your demographic information, prior and current mental health treatment, and your interest and ability to complete various aspects of the study. As part of this eligibility screen you will be asked to provide your name and contact information. Your responses and contact information will then be reviewed by the researchers.
If your responses suggest you might be eligible to participate, a researcher will contact you to provide you with more information about the study, and to schedule an interview to confirm your eligibility. Upon meeting with a researcher, you will be asked to show your government-issued Common Access Card to verify your identity and confirm your active duty military status.
