FALLS CHURCH, Va. – You’re at a medical appointment and you’re getting a new prescription. Before your provider sends an electronic prescription or gives you a paper prescription, it may be helpful for you and your provider to look up the drug with the TRICARE Formulary Search Tool.

Are your prescriptions enrolled in the TRICARE Pharmacy Home Delivery automatic refill program, administered by Express Scripts? If they are, did you know you must approve your refills before they’re sent to you? Not only is the process easy and convenient, but it will also help prevent excess prescription waste.

Depending on where you pick up your prescription, you may need to file a claim to get reimbursed. Visit www.tricare.mil/PharmacyClaims to find the claims submission form and where you need to submit it.

If you’re a TRICARE Pharmacy beneficiary, you have the option to get a 90-day supply of your prescription delivered to you. Visit www.militaryrx.express-scripts.com/home-delivery to get more details on TRICARE Pharmacy Home Delivery service.
